To welcome spring, I’ve made crochet rabbit hats for eggs, to keep them warm and be fun.
It’s Easter, the clock has changed to summer time and the world around is slowly waking up. I love this time of year, everything is looking brighter with a promise of warmer days and all the lovely flowers blooming in the gardens, especially all the sunny daffodils everywhere, love them!
It’s been a year since we moved to our little cottage and my first flowers I’ve planted last year are showing up, very exciting! Really looking forward to starting our vegetable patch.
My Easter crochet bunnies are very easy and cheerful, girls love them on their eggs, makes it more fun first thing in the morning, when they’re having their breakfast.

If you would like to make this little crochet bunny hat for eggs, here is my very simple pattern.
Hat: Start with 4chain stitches(st), slip stitch(ss) in the first chain, now work in continuous rounds. First round, 9 trebles in the ring, second round, 2double crochet(dc) in each st. Third round, 2dc in first st, 1dc in next st, repeat. Fourth round, 1dc in each st, make 8 more rounds, ss.
Ears: Start with 3 chains, 2dc in the second chain, turn and chain one at the end of each round, 2dc in the first st, 1dc in the second, next round 2dc in the first st and 1dc in the next two st, next round 2dc in the first st and 1dc in the next three st, after that 1dc in each st, make six more rounds, ss at the end, you can leave a longer thread for stitching the ears to the hat.
Darn all the ends to make it neat and TA-DA you have a cute little rabbit hat not just for Easter eggs.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope my little crochet rabbit hats made have put a smile on your face or you might feel inspired to make some. Please leave a comment, I would love to hear from you.
Have a lovely day,
Renata.
