Beautiful soft pink crochet collar for my girls brightens up any dress or t-shirt.
Sun is shining, birds are singing and my girls are so happy that they can put on lovely dresses, run around and play. With winter clothes safely put away, we pick more fun colours to wear, just like all the flowers around us.
I love this pattern I found here for a gorgeous crochet collar to jazz up any old or new clothes. The pattern is free and very easy to follow. It’s such a fun way to make even ordinary t-shirt looking more delicate.
For this crochet collar I picked softer then soft Sublime baby cashmere merino silk dk wool in pink. Beautiful shade of pink, really soft which is important as girls wouldn’t wear it if it was scratchy.
The collar was such a lovely quick crochet project, and the wool is great to work with so I’ll be making more of these crochet collars, probably grey one for myself.
The gorgeous pink colour of the crochet collar goes lovely together with my tulips. I was given the fab bunch of tulips from a friendly neighbour, so sweet of her. People in our little village have been so friendly and welcoming. Girls especially love to chat to everyone and quickly made new friends.
I hope you like the sweet crochet collar as much as I do and maybe feel inspired to have a go and make some. I’ve started the foundation chain with 94 stiches plus 5 for the button, with crochet hook size 2,5. I’ve used a bead instead of a button.
Have a lovely day and happy crocheting,
